I didn't like her at all until now, but I will be so pissed...
There's a line between bullshit and awesome. Whether or not they actually crossed that line, they veered towards it enough to ruin the ep for me. You don't build viewers up to stab them in the heart, that's not an appropriate way to get an emotional reaction. It's like stomping on kittens. |

I imagine we wont find out for a while either. I'm hoping that slug jumped off Naruto at the end there, that's really the only way I can think of...
Even then it's hard to believe that, after everything she said. As soon as those specific words slipped out I said "Oh no." |

That episode looked like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Seriously.
Pretty freaking awesome at the end though. Guess he wasn't dead after all. |

| I wonder if the art director chose to draw it consciously or they just didn't want to spend on good animations, either way it pretty much dumped an epic episode to a tom & jerry one.. |

| I think they must have had new people work on it, maybe the normal team was sick or on vacation. I can't imagine them doing something like that on purpose. Or I hope not anyway. |

Today's episode looked like it was back to normal.
Seemed really short though. Possibly because the opening didn't play until halfway through.  |

169 is pretty good. Mesh is supposed to be see through... that's all that popped into my head during that whole scene.
I don't know if this show can last much longer. A lot of the story elements have come together and essentially concluded. Naruto has also evolved into a different person, and his power is at the point where I can't imagine many more challenges. He's got two more serious fights, that masked guy and Sasuke, I don't see how they can continue from there without breaking some walls down. Like they'd have to have like gods falling from space, or demons rising from hell, things that go beyond the world as it is. I don't think that would be as interesting though. The show is supposed to be about ninjas fighting ninjas, and I think Naruto is already the most powerful ninja in the known world, especially after 169.
Still thinking about the mesh thing. >.< |
